Being in a country that is pretty much summer all year long, a bowl of cendol certainly does help a lot. Not to mention it's a tasty form of dessert thanks to its heavenly gula melaka. Why don't you drop by these places for that delicious and cooling sensation?

Unlike most cendol that is served in a aluminium bowl, Pak Haji's version is done in a cup. It's handy and definitely more convenient if you're on the go! However, the idea of mobility will have to be compensated rapid-melting of the ice. Do drink it fast and don;t forget to enjoy each bite!

Penang Road Famous Teochew Chendul is undeniably one the more popular cendol places - you can even find branches in Klang Valley alone! This stall improves its menu from time to time, offering various toppings and ingredients and still retain its essence.

Kulim Best Cendol has possibly one of the more affordable cendol in Penang. With a starting price of RM2, it's tempting to simply order more. The cendol is made with fresh ingredients (apart form the green jelly thing) and a dash of delicious syrup. We reckon ordering more than one just because of the temperature in our country!

The cendol at Paya Terubong isn't the most unique by aesthetics, but the authenticity and balance of flavour is just right! It's simple but definitely done with passion and love. Although the green-ness of the cendol is an overdone, its yummy flavour compensates it!
